Yes, it is killing the unborn infant, however depending on the situation, the baby could be born into a negative environment. It also depends on the mom's reasoning behind the abortion since there could be troubles with having a baby. The baby could be raised poorly in the family if a mom decides to not have an abortion. But, the mom could regret having aborted her baby in her future life.
